What would fear taste like?

    Fear raises your cortisol levels and makes your heart beat faster, this makes you breath faster and dries out your mouth. The result: a metallic taste... fear and stress taste like blood. There's a whole scientific explanation on this if you are interested. You can find it here.

    I don't know why, but I think it would taste metallic.

    I always figured high-grade fear would "taste" kind of like touching the contacts of a 9-volt transistor radio battery to your tongue.
