Taylor: Not much, and only if I know the person I'm donating to. I know the "maximum morality" answer is to give all of your blood, sacrificing yourself to save others, but that would be a pointless waste of my life. By doing that, I might save a dozen. By remaining alive and putting my skills to practical use, I might save millions, potentially billions. I'm far too valuable to throw away for the sake of people who may very well die anyway. And as for simply donating some blood instead of all of it, doing so would weaken me, and that's when my enemies would strike. So I'd be dead, and I will have saved even fewer people through blood donations. I'd only be willing to take that risk if it's someone I need. Otherwise, it's just a bad idea. How far would your MC be willing to go to achieve his ultimate goal? As in, how close to the dark side of things?
How far would your MC be willing to go to achieve his ultimate goal? As in, how close to the dark side of things? Samantha is uncomfortable with being as manipulative as everyone else simply because she believes that it's part of what's causing a problem. However, she does flat-out tell people the reasons why they have to die for the greater good, and if they don't cooperate she tells the people who are strong enough to do it. (She'd also kill them herself if she was strong enough to actually win a fight.) Your character finds a hungry puppy that looks like it has no owners. What do they do?
F: Take it back to the Collective kennels if it had the potential to be a good guard dog. Otherwise, he'd probably take it to the livestock pens to be fattened up for a feast. L: Chances are it'll starve to death, so ignore or eat it, probably. He's more of a cat person anyhow. Yes, the setting is pretty dismal & ppl eat cats, dogs, rats, gulls, ect. It's better than starving. MC sees a man dragging an oddly heavy & human-shaped roll of carpet from his garage. The man sees the MC & his startled expression suggests that he knows that MC knows what's in the carpet. He winks at MC & continues loading the 'carpet' into the back of his truck. What does MC do?
Jonathan: I would be outraged. How can someone do that to have survived The Event and then be killed by another survivor. I would certainly knock him unconscoius but I'm not sure from there. That may require a bit more planning.... If your MC could have any one thing in the world, what would it be?
Amy would have her dead father back, and her shunning mother be turned back to her old, good self. Hank would not have a mean, older brother or bratty younger brother, but a younger sister instead. Do the little things in life please your character? Or does he/she have to be surrounded by new fun things to keep them occupied?
L: He's normally anhedonic enough that neither is applicable. But in fleeting moments, yeah, they do. F: Is normally so busy & overwhelmed that the little pleasures hold a special kind of solace for him. The mundanity he longs for, but knows he is too instrumental to have. Yes, basically. What's your MC's motto?
Never leave home without your knives & a bar of chocolate What would your MC say just before jumping off a cliff (to test their new wings, of course)?
'Heres hoping this works' Is your character the relucatant hero or the hero who is the first to volunteer?
Angus and Nate: First to volunteer. Socrates: Isn't a reluctant hero as such, he always does what is required and asked of him to the very best of his ability - he wouldn't volunteer if someone else was available though.
Hank: Are you sure they're gonna work, Amy? I just think it's a stupid idea jumping off a cliff. I mean what are we trying to prove? Jumping out of a tree would be better. Amy rolls her eyes: We've already been through this, Hank. They'll work. I've tried three times. I can pull myself five inches off the ground. Now hold my hand and on the count of three we'll jump. From the above dialogue you can see Amy is the hero who'd be the first to volunteer. She just knows what to do when handling certain dire situations. Hank, on the other hand, would be the reluctant hero. He's not so agile and quick to think as Amy can be. What is your MC's favorite place to be?
Sitting on the rooftop of her apartment building...even though she rarely ever looks at the sky. What is your MC's oft-used dialogue?
Amy: Hank, come one. Just try this. You'll never know until you do. What's your MC's most favorite place to be? Amy and Hank love spending time in a tree house they've built together. So your MC gets every wish he/she could ever want. What do they wish for now?
To look a little less like a carrion bird & more like the morose, gothed-out teenage human she was sure she resembled. If your MC was forced to choose between immortality & a slow painful death, what would they choose? & why?
That would be a decision to make. A decision that would probably occur over an extended period of time for her to understand and decide. Amy would choose a slow painful death in the end. Immortality would be amazing. To live forever. But to live forever, surrounded by wrong influences who don't do good? As she so experiences in another world, Amy would choose to die than live and let bad reign. Hank -- it would take him a bit longer to decide. He likes living. But in the end, he'd choose to die. What is your Mc's favorite color.
oops I forgot to ask question last time sorry. Angus: Anything bright and cheerful that isn't green (everything has to be green in his life) Nate: Pink (his Mum painted his bedroom pink when he wouldn't stop fighting with his brother - now it reminds him of home) Soc: Brown, colour of Nate's eyes. Your character is flying over the sea how are they doing it ?
Teal - the colour most resembling her late, charming, beloved mother's eyes. What is the one thing your MCs don't leave home without?
"You see these big black flappity things on my back? Well, they're not pretty but they get the job done."
Hmm...that's a good question. I've never thought about that. Well, I'd say Amy never leaves home without her pastels. She loves making pictures. Hank? His wallet, I think. I'll come up with something better later. Does your MC like to spend his/her time alone, undisturbed? Or out with the gang?
Amos: Alone. Heridon: With my pals, obviously! Omar: I'm in between. Helen: Well, alone, since I'm with my crew 24/7. What would your MC do if he/she were stranded on a mysterious, deadly, and uncharted island?
Amy would try to find a way off. She wants to get back home. If your MC could fly, where would he fly to?
Around. A MacGuffin that your MC wants is being held in a locked safe in a basement beneath a trap door in a secret room at the bottom of a military complex which itself is the secret base of a mercenary organisation in an autocratic nation at war with everyone. What do you do?
Me: Um...Is that directed to me? Amos: I think it's to us, mate. I solve mysteries. Omar: I go on adventure. Heridon: Same as Amos, except modern times. Edwin Forfus: Same as those two silly Yanks, except I'm in 1600s England. Amos: Oi! I'm French here! Helen: Quiet, you two! I go on adventure in space...and save an oppressed alien race with my crew and other allies. How would you react if you saw a person that shared the name and apperance of your MC?
How would you react if you saw a person that shared the name and apperance of your MC? Considering how broad-brush I describe my MC's, I could probably find 3 of them in any crowd. Minus the one who got a blue dye-job on her hair 3 months ago and it's still identifiably blue, she looks exactly like me and has the superpower of actually getting odd dye colors to work. Your character is told to wear something they normally wouldn't. What is it and how do they respond?
Delphi, the cold; yea right, I wear what I want. Pet: If master says it is alright, Pet will wear it. Aritae: I wear what I feel is comfortable, probably what ever you want me to wear is to warm.
Omar: If someone told me to wear nothing but jumpers, I'd think they were crazy. Amos: An army coat. Heridon: I'd wear anything except those food suit things. Helen: Loincloths. *shudders* What period of history does your MC like?
