I think "absolutely had to" precludes having the option not to, but yeah they probably would. Leon is terrible with kids, so he'd probably interact as little as possible. Franz is okay with kids, he just has little outward patience for frivolity. He'd try to get the kid to think more deeply about something, some aspect of life, if possible. What wouldn't your MC do to achieve their goals?
She wouldn't rat on her friends/allies, but aside from that she'd do pretty much anything, good or bad. Your MC decides to run for political office. Which office do they pick to run for, what basic issues/platforms do they run on etc? If you say Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, etc also clarify whether they'd toe the party line or disagree on some things with the party. What would be the three issues they'd prioritize, and what would be their stances on those issues?
In his world or our own? In ours Franz would probably run either as a democrat or independant. I'm unaware if the US has a socialist party, so yeah. He'd probably angle for a state or federal house or senate seat, seeing it as a prudent stepping stone for larger things one day, & a worthy means with which to affect change. To him, the differences between dems & reps would seem paltry, so he'd inevitably diverge from the party platform if he were a democrat. One of the main issues for him would probably be a massive reform of the prison system: not a cent of the peoples' money should be spent housing those who have betrayed society - every crumb of bread & watt of energy they use should be paid for with their own labor, & even moreso to the point of making the state a profit. Life without parole would be abolished - instead replaced by the death-penalty. Anyone who commits so heinous a crime as to be locked up for life has forfeited their existence, & even more, it is inhumane to permanently relegate anyone to the shadow of a life that is prison. They're better off dead to him, for society's & their own sake. Despite the obvious potential for abuse in this system, civil society cannot afford & should not pay to accomodate the irredeemable. The truly rehabilitatable can do so on their own, by the merit of their hard work & desire for freedom. He'd likely advocate the nationalizing of the healthcare industry, akin to the system many European countries use. Some things are far too important to be left to the impersonal profiteering of capitalism, especially considering the shape the US system is in nowadays. In his opinion, an overburdened healthcare system open to all equally is better than an excellent one accessible only to the unfairly advantaged. Lastly, Franz would probably advocate strongly for full-reproductive/abortion rights, based on his belief that 1) consciousness is life, thus unconscious blastula & fetuses are not alive in any meaningful way & should be regarded morally as little more than a benign tumor, & 2) that mankind is breeding much too rapidly to be sustained by the finite resources on this planet - setting itself up for an inevitable collapse of the world as we know it (the result of which being the era he's from) & making population control absolutely essential to the future of our species. The world he comes from is much different than our own, & so are their germane political issues, but these are probably the kinds of things he'd care about. Not that he'd have a chance in hell getting elected in our moderm political landscape. What does your MC hate more: wasting time or energy?
Energy. Being immortal, time isn't an issue. Which parent was your MC closer to, or what did he/she think of them?

A pitiless beating from his father while his mother tried to stay out of the way. She knows better now than to try to stop him. They weren't exactly a model family. If your character had the choice to turn into a genie (bound to the will of the human possesing the lamp ala Aladin - phenomonal cosmic powers, itty bitty living space ) would he/she do it?
His memoirs. Since he's lived over a millennium and a half, there would be at least three or four volumes. He'd probably write about the horrible things he does and why he does them, and it would end up bleeding into a satirical social commentary about how throughout history nothing ever changes and how pathetic and self absorbed people are. It would definitely not get published. What instrument does your character play (or would they like to already know how to play) and why?
Franz is a skilled guitarist and pianist, and a proficient harpist. He'd probably like to learn the viola or maybe the drums. Leon is great with a harmonica, but otherwise he at one time strongly wanted to learn guitar. Does your MC prefer asian or mexican food?

I don't think there's such a thing as great Mexican food this far from the border. I live in New York, of course Asian food rocks...at least I think so." What is the mood your MC is mostly in?
Paul: Focused. Annoyed with people much of the time but rarely upset or angry. Shaun: Confused, insecure. Ashwin: Inwardly angry, outwardly pompous and distrusting. Strangely endearing and sad when drunk. Kenneth: Even tempered, until you threaten his family. Then there's no word in any dictionary of any language currently spoken or long dead to describe the mood he'll be in. If the house were on fire, what person/item would your MC immediately think to save.
Leon: His .38 pistol or bowie knife. The knife would be more practical - ammo being incredibly scarce & all - but he'd probably take the .38, being the only momento from his father he has. Franz: My anti-rejection medication. My eye would rot out without it. Not fun. Would your MC rather hear the cold, hard truth, or a comforting lie?
Prince Daius: Well, since he already knows it's either a truth or a lie, he'll go with the truth. He's already seen much in his lifetime - including the deaths of a few close ones - despite his young age, so he's fine with the truth. Well, at least externally he won't show any insane reaction. Edward: He would really prefer the truth, but he's afraid to hear it. On the other hand, he doesn't want a lie either, because he'll rather have trust in whoever tells him. Rose: Same as above. Constantine: Well, he always spills out harsh truths on people, so why can't people spill out harsh truths on him? Theodora: Lies. She'd want the lies, but she'll feel guilty about it. Next: What would your MC's opinion on radical feminism be?

Neither would act any different I imagine. It would be like any other work of art to Franz: he'd like it if it was well done, & wouldn't if it wasn't. He's not a fan of romance stories much anyhow. Where would MC go, if they could go anywhere in the world?

Franz: Achieve a significant, worthy amount of his goals if possible. T'would be an opportune time to martyr himself if the timing was right; it's something he would have had to have done eventually anyhow. Otherwise, relax, enjoy the day spending time with those he loves & reflect on the impact of his life, life in general, & the dubious future of humanity; as well as having lots of good sex. What language would MC learn if they wanted/had to?

Caleb would argue that I had not put enough evil, sex, drugs, or rock and roll into the creation of the mini world he's stuck in. He would argue how bored he was because of it. Your MC is stuck between a moral rock and hard place. He/She can either let two people they love die to save the world or Kill one of the two to save the other and the world... Which choice does your MC make and why?
G4: Lives for choices like this. Because he'll save both of them - the world and his friends. Impossible? Never. Have you got any MCs sitting on the shelf waiting for you to find a (writable) story for them, or is every MC created with a story straight away?
