"In love" is perhaps a strong term, but Leon does eventually develop feelings for Vyohn which wax and wane throughout their relationship, especially the more dire their situation becomes. To be fair, Leon kind of falls in love with anyone that he respects and gets to know well enough, due in part - to put it very simplistically - his self-loathing and life long social isolation. However, other than a brief and awkward kiss, nothing ever comes of it. It rather fits his... forlorn character. Vyohn is very open with who he fancies and doesn't think much of it, almost to the point of polyamory. Although very out of character for him, if he were in love in the burning, romantic sense that most people associate with the term, he'd most likely suppress it. He knows he's going to die and must abandon everyone who cares for him sooner or later. His vision slowly returning, he saw with dawning realization that there was a tall, balding man in a pressed suit. This man was at least a head taller than Heridon, who was a generous 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Not responding, the man reached into his black trenchcoat and drew out what looked to be a German Mauser. "You are coming with me." the man growled. "You and your roommate. I require assistance and I don't want to see any funny buisness." Heridon's throat tightened with anger. He wanted to deck the man across the face, but he knew he had no choice. He had to comply. Walking to his roommate, he could see fear etched into the young man's face as he looked around frantically for something he couldn't see. Picking up Kyle's folded cane, Heridon put a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, whatever happens, just stick with me, okay?" Heridon said. "W-what...!" Kyle sputtered. "Quickly now!" the man said. "I don't have all morning!" "Trust me, Kyle. Trust me." Heridon said. "I don't know what the hell this guy wants, but I promise you, we're both getting out of this." She is torn. This woman raised her. She cared for her, and really they lived a simple yet peaceful life together...when she believed the woman was her mother. Her thoughts run away with her. "Who steals an infant? What possesses someone to do that?" It must be witchcraft. Her true parents must be right. To leave the decision in her hands is more than she can bear. THe law says a witch must be burned, but in all her fifteen years she never witnessed anything magical out of her. Perhaps secretory, but not magical. Unless she hid it. Her mother, no that's not right. She wasn't her mother. This woman must have kept her sorcery hidden. She had to have used it to get out of the kingdom unseen. She is angry now, and feels as though her childhood was robbed from her. A decision must be made. For now the woman will stay in the dungeons. That should suffice until she can decide. Most likely help her in some form or fashion (ie, they'd rush her to a hospital of some kind or at least build a makeshift shelter around her) and they'd be with her until she and the baby is in proper care. She may be related to the enemy, but that doesn't mean my characters will stoop so low that they'll treat a defenseless pregnant woman like trash. Just as long as Doctor Yale doesn't program or manipulate the gene sequences in her body, then he would not be concerned much. Mind you Doctor Yale is slightly insane.... and she can be pretty devious. He's probably keep a close eye on her and by her I mean my slightly mad scientist. Ellis is haunted by his past, and would be torn. On the one hand, his memories are precious. On the other hand, they're painful. He might try to play ball with the mad scientist. If not, he would try to negotiate his way out. Kevin: Would see the evil in tempering with memories, as he is affected by distopian literature (he also likes South Park, btw, but that's beside the point). He would end up like Winston Smith in 1984, giving grandiouse monologues to his captor about the human spirit, etc. Jeremy: Would offer to help the scientist in return for freedom, and would offer resources and new victims. He might talk the scientist into teaming up. Your MC is told that all of his goals have been reached, in the most satisfying conclusion he could ever imagine (in line with the laws of the story's universe). What would his victory look like? Well, with Heridon, he recieves surprise help from his arch-rival and fellow football player, Justin, dressed in an outfit most offensive to Heridon (Long story. Guy has a political science major.) The two defeat the big bad and save the day. Justin, of course, inserts a last one liner before scampering off. With Amos? Well, it turns out that...hmm...bit of a spoiler, but let's just say that someone he once hated comes and orders Amos to take a wounded man away while this person soundly beats the crap out of the big bad. Mike Wolfletter is different. The big bad was once his comrade when they both were in the Army of Northern Virginia. They decide to have one last fight-together against a common enemy-one last time. Haven't thought up of a big bad for Helen Chert, though. Your MC discovered that his/her deceased loved one has been allowed to return to Earth for a day. What do they do together? Discuss in detail.
(I've missed reading about Amos ; w; ) As far as I know, Sawyer doesn't have any deceased loved ones during the story, but there's a good chance his father won't be surviving passed the end, so I'll go with that~ If he had one last day with his father, they'd probably go and do something quiet and peaceful, maybe go fishing or something. Sawyer might even play catch with him, even though he's lousy at sports, because he knows his father always wanted to do that kinda father-son stuff with him, but was too busy (and Sawyer sucks at that kinda thing). Sawyer wouldn't say much, but prompt his father into telling him old stories and things about himself, because they were kind of distant. A few days afterward, Sawyer would start thinking about all the things he should have said, but didn't think to at the time. And kick himself for it forever. Link, I haven't started on my main project yet. I'm writing short stories about my many characters. But I've decided to put Minty as a main character. I am sorry to say that I cannot tell how the main story will start yet. I thought this was a "what would your character do if?"-game? Well (I'll try to answer...... ). I'm taking one of my short stories starting with Minty: Minty is in a hurry. She needs to switch classrooms. She needs to get to the other side of the school building in only two minutes, and she looses her books on the way. Her three best friends follow her and they run really fast. Now, what happened here was that we were on a cover mission on the planet Ayiksan and long story short, my captain decided to play like she was married to a brutal, barbarian warlord.
