Hero Protagonist: prays for guidance about how to respond to the world's moral shades of grey. Villain Protagonist: touches herself. Or plans battle tactics for how she might deal with whatever scenario might involve her finding a criminal that she wants to murder horribly, one of the two (though not at the same time oddly enough: she doesn't consciously associate her bloodlust with her normal lust because she hasn't consciously realized that normal people aren't as physically aroused by bloody murder as she is). What fictional character(s) does your MC feel the strongest connection to?
James: Ozzie tends to stare off into the distance and start biting his lip. It's kind of adorable. Ozzie: James looks like he's posing for a camera. James: Everyday bro. Ozzie: We've sorta been over this, but I hate how hard James tries to piss me off. Like the Mercedez thing, it's fucking annoying. James: It's really funny though. Ozzie: Shut up. James: I hate people who chew gum with their mouths open. Clint: I hate Ozzie's horrendous fashion sense. Seriously darling, those sweaters do not do justice to your face. I quite like your face. I will buy you a Gucci watch if you abandon those unholy sweaters. Ozzie: I like my sweaters. They're comfortable. Clint: Burn them. Burn them with fucking fire and brimstone. I demand it. What does your MC hate most about their supporting character.
Ozzie: I really relate to the Scarlet Witch and Jamie Madrox. Wanda's just so tragic, always trying to do the right thing, but somehow making things worse to the point of self imposed exile. And Jamie's just so tortured in himself. So unsure of where he wants to go and do in life because he can do everything. Would your MC consider themselves a bad person?
Well, my leading hero protagonist hates that my leading villain protagonist is a bloodthirsty serial killer, since but that feels just a little bit too easy My leading villain protagonist hates that my secondary hero protagonist is such a hypocrite about violence: "he doesn't have a problem when he kills the guilty in defense of the innocent, but he pitches such a massive hissy fit whenever I do" (even though my secondary hero kills humanely as the last resort while my villain kills far more brutally and she does so as the first resort). My leading hero protagonist hates that my secondary hero protagonist is so condescending towards the idea of belief in a deity ("I don't need religion, I have a conscience") Both hero protagonists also disapprove of my villain protagonist being so condescending towards the idea of rules and responsibilities that come from other people besides oneself (and also her promiscuity, both heroes are also incredibly committed to monogamy). EDIT: Oh, right, another question. If your MC could have any kind of pet that s/he does not already have, what kind of animal would it be?
Oscar: "Didn't we already do this one?" Luke: "Can we do my suggestion this time?" Oscar: (Oscar sighs) "Fine, puppy eyes. You get a puppy."Luke: "I think I'll call him sparky." Does you MC have any interesting in-jokes or such with close people in their lives?
*Whenever my villain protagonist and her more heroic friends get in trouble with the people around them, the heroes always assume that it's because the villain slept with the wrong person. Or people, couple, couples... It's happened before. Most famously with a police captain whose officers had been hunting the villain for years and yet he didn't recognize her (at first). *The villain and her most outgoing friend enjoy recreational sarcasm while the two quieter friends find something else to do until the duel is finished. *The four friends enjoy tabletop RPGs and often bring up each others' most spectacular critical fumbles as though the failure actually happened to them. Spoiler I actually hadn't thought of that last one but I am going to use it in a future story Thank you! If your MC learned that one of their core beliefs about the world was completely wrong and that s/he has made many grave mistakes when acting on that belief, how would the MC take the revelation?
Well, one of my characters did face that. They massacred a church. She was not a hero. Self admitted. Killed over 40 people that day. Other than that, she tried to press on as if nothing had happened. Maybe I have mistaken this. Maybe it is less her core self was altered but her trust in that church. Her life was dedictated to them, and she would have died for them before. Does that count? You MC has seen the future. They see ten different paths that all lead to the world being saved. In 5 of them, they die. In 4 of them, the one they love most dies. In 1 they both live, but are not together. Yet in only 1, is that love interest happy. That path is one of the ones they die in. Which path do they pick and why?
You designed that for my characters, didn't you? Oscar: "Luke is too sweet to suffer like I have. I want to make him happy." Luke: "Oscar's gone through enough. There's no making I'm doing anything to get in the way of his good ending." Has you MC ever cried from fiction? (Books, movies etc)
James: *Smirks* I make myself cry. Ozzie: Jesus, conceited much? James: *Laughs* But seriously, don't laugh but... the last episode of Angel Beats made me bawl. If you MC has a super power what is it? If not what would it be?
Actually that is something one of my characters does. lol. To your question. Jackie: Eh, no. Crying is a weak act that only babies and little girls do. If that is what you want to do, fine? But don't get any of that weaksauce on me. What is your MC's favorite form of Art?
Oscar: "Uh, playwriting, obviously." Luke: "I dunno, I like them all. But I'm not super into any of them." What would your MC do when told about their personality flaws? How aware are they of them?
I feel bad ninjed you. So, Jackie can create fire in her hand with her mind and throw it at people. It is limited because of her skill. She also has super human stats and can control water to a limited effect, including freezing over a small lake. Her super human stats are large enough to lift a car in the air. Well, Jackie is a bit full of herself. Actually she has been told off a few times. Usually she brushes it off as them being stupid and breaks something on their body. Only one person has been able to beat her up though. So when that person told her off, she cried. With a bit of shame attached as you might imagine. Someone split beer on your MC. The person that did so is huge! This is a fight they are not going to win. Do they back down or go for first blood?
Oscar: "Clearly a witty insult followed by running away is appropriate." Luke- "Why do you people hate talking through your issues? Everything always a fight in these questions!" How would your MC stop a fight verbally? Threats? Appeals to conscience? Distractions?
One time. A guy called Jackie "Jacquelyn" She stabbed him in the foot with a tanto. Which is like a 12 blade. She stabbed him so hard the handle was touching his skin. Someone else also tried to touch her hair. She broke his foot and shot him twice with a pistol. Both of these situations are completely out of context but they both perfectly describe Jackie. lol. Future seeing powers see that you could save your lover OR your parents with 100% accuracy or you could try and save both at the risk of losing both. What do you do?
So your answer is she wouldn't stop it? Seems like she's capable and suited to using threats when she wants to, surely she does that sometimes? Anyway. Oscar: "How high is the risk gain? Are we talking 5%, 10%, 30$, 50%?" Luke: "I'm going to have to try to save both. Sorry, Oscar. But I love my parents too. I could stand knowing that I didn't try." What was/is your MC's biggest sexual fantasy?
Well to answer your question about Jackie. She well. She can stop. She is not a berserker or anything. And she has used her voice before. Like the guy with the broken foot. She started that scene with. "I would like you to leave." He didn't leave. lol Or like the guy that said her name. She said "It pisses me off when people say that. The fact you know that name and used it makes you unlucky or stupid. If you say it again, I am going to break something. Not sure what yet." He says her name 2 more times! Geez. She tried to warn him. lol. And she did later break a bone. She picked his neck. She damn near ripped his head off. lol. So yeah, she is not exactly the peaceful talking type. lol. I didn't answer your question because I got nothing So I am just reposting it. What was/is your MC's biggest sexual fantasy?
My lead hero protagonist isn't proud of herself for having thoughts about sex while my villain protagonist would want an S and M orgy with as many people as possible to last as long as possible. Though after reading these last few passages my VP would also have a huge crush on Jackie Wynn, are you published by any chance? What games does your MC most enjoy playing in his/her free time?
Ozzie: Having an orgy with Dodge, Dante and LayLay. Clint: That'd be so fucking hot. Ozzie: *Smirks* I know right. What's your MC's favorite videogame
Nope not yet. I am not quite a strong enough writer for that. Though, Jackie has a section of writing on here. She didn't get to many comments though. Her full name is Jacquelyn Tarvoss. And I have a picture of her if you would like to see. Given her name, I bet finding her workshop entry will be easy if you are curious. Okay, for Jackie. She doesn't much like games. She likes reading. I mean she trains, which can involve really anything some people might think as training. Juggling knives and guns is fun right? lol In her free time she is more of a reader. As mentioned Jackie can't answer that. So switching to Emily. And Emily would reply with. Emily: Does hacking the police stations central computer station count as a game? I mean by videogame you mean like a computer based game right. I used a computer to do the hacking and it was fun. Does that count? Your MC is given one wish(hold off the boo for cliche!) the trick is they can only make a wish that directly improves the life of someone else. Who do they wish for and what do they wish?
Wow Great minds, huh? My hero protagonist doesn't play video games while my villain protagonist enjoys co-operative First-Person Shooters (though the co-op is more important to her than the FPS, she'll play basically anything where she's on the same team as somebody else) EDIT: She would wish for every evil person in the world to die horribly so that their victims could life live without fear of death or injury ... not realizing that she is on the list. What is your MC's biggest regret in their life?
Oscar: 'Why the hell did I break up with Luke? I mean, worst timing! Three weeks later, and I realize I love him. Urrrrgh." Luke: "I think we all know that I agree with that. We should have never done that."
What would it take it to push your MC over to the dark side, so to speak? Don't say you can't. Everyone has a dark side.
Well, that is a tough one. For Jackie though? Probably that she waited until she was sixteen to punch her dad in the throat. Well, most of my MC's are on the dark side. But for an interesting one. Enter Vivian, the delicate flower. Her family was massacred. That did it. She went for blood and was able to handle a false-militia by herself in the pursuit of that goal. She never did anything bad. Someone stopped her, but god that was scary. She literally can control any element. How do you hide from someone that can magically take control of any material, like the door you are hiding behind? She like ripped the panic room out of the wall and had a perfect revenge line. "I could break in. But I don't have too!" as she raised the panic room to 1000 feet into the air. lol. What is the proudest moment of your MC?
Ozzie:Honestly? Uhm... Not much. Shit. If it wasn't for the fact the "Dark side"'s the reason my life's generally so fucked in the ass right now I'd probably be one of them already. James: Dude, you know you curse alot? Like in every other sentence. Ozzie: Uh-huh? And? Whatcha' gonna do 'bout it punk. James: Jerk. What's your MC's favorite food they really shouldn't eat?
Oscar: "I helped Luke come out properly. Only two people knew. Luke told me I was his inspiration. Heh." Luke: "Our reunion thing was pretty awesome. And, you know, hot." Oscar: "Oh my god I love Martha's apple pie!" Luke: "Sometimes I get tempted by big chocolatey muffins."
