dum sim or dumplings or pot stickers.

last night I tried some of the President Choice frozen entree's and side dishes.
vegetable samosa and something with all sorts of vegetables and a sauce.
one or the other made me so sick. I went to bed at 9 and was sick all night.
Don't think I will try those again.

going to do some home cooking tonight I think.
    just don't know what.

I ended up having a microwavable ready meal thing (actually really nice). It was chicken pieces and potato slices with vegetables in gravy.

Torana did you know that attitudes like yours are legal grounds for murder.
Gaining weight for most people is no problem.
before they found out what was wrong with my arms I had gained huge time. 2 years ago when they fixed my left arm I lost a lot of weight. Then last Jan they fixed my other arm and I lost a heck of a lot more.
I always told the drs. you get rid of the pain and I will get rid of the weight. Well finally a dr. did that and I am keeping my part of the bargain. j
Since the first operation I have lost 100lbs. so that is woot woot woot woot
If I gain 3 it would be more like wah wah wah
I am glad if you are gaining and want to though.
Just the totally opposite problem to me.

I have a question for people who eat Indian food.
I tried some I think they were vegetable somosa they were triangles of what seemed like phyllo dough but thicker. I really liked the sauce for dipping that came with it. I tossed the package before I thought about getting the name of the sauce.
It was dark brown and sort of sour and sweet. Could anyone tell me what would be in it. I would like to make my own for other things like spring rolls or egg rolls.
Might even try to make the samosas as well.

It's a tamarind dipping sauce. Tamarind is the sweet component of Worcestershire sauce. You should be able to find tamarind sauce at Indian groceries, and you can probably order it over the Internet.

Yes I know my attitutde is legal grounds for murder
FOr me gaining weight is harder than winning a million dollars on lottery
I actually want to gain another 7 kilos so that I am 55 kilos instead of 45 which I have been since I was 13.

And as far as I know the sauce Cogito mentioned is correct.

As for tea tonight I am getting either pizza or lasgane. Not sure yet. I just feel like something quick and easy tonight! :p

Olive oil and garlic is a fine pasta sauce by itself. Black pepper is a common third ingredient, as is fresh lemon.

I made a rice and vegetable dish. My own recipe. I don't remember what was in it but it was quite lovely. I used Jasmine rice and there was prawns, pineapple, capsicum, and I can't remember anything else that was in it. I should have wrote it down while it was on my mind actually.

Who is Carol, and what is he reciting to her?

I'm baking a loaf of rye bread today. I haven't decided what dinner will be tonight yet. Perhaps I will have chicken and dumplings, great for a cold, snowy day.
