I use to clap hands to their skilful flying & whining.

But... Back to the getting ideas!

In winter time we do these snowmen. Sometimes we don't put them carrot noses but big pencils.

If you stand nude outside and keep a pad of paper gently against snowman's pencil nose, you'll find out that it writes ideas to you!

Usually it starts to happen at the same time you start to tremble because of cold.

Unfortunately their nose writing is not easy to read.

I thought I could get ideas from Oscar’s litter box, but all I got was crap.

(I mean... the cat, all right... But I felt like asking, because I haven't been introduced.)

I was thinking earlier that maybe one might think that it requires a powerful spell in order to cross the Spider Bridge and get to the other side alive... But it isn't so, at least not in my case. Maybe a god protects me as I cross it. The god does indeed sometimes talk to me along that wood... But he doesn't usually give me ideas for the stories. The spiders do, with their threats.

I've thought with myself about asking the god inspiration though. I miss muses. All I've got were spiders.

There were days when I saw dead elves in the desert plateaus. Their corpses wispered ideas to me. They told me about their king, Sphecus. It was from them, I guess, that I came to know that Sphecus Tertius was the King of Sycia. (...)

Facebook has a data stream that vacuums identity and personal information of all it's users and converts them into information used for targeted advertising. If you hack this data stream and view the source code for raw data before it is converted into targeted ads, you will see all sorts of ideas vacuumed from millions of people from around the world. Though, you'll need some proper filtering software to separate the rubbish ideas from the good ones. I've heard the Russian filtering software is pretty top notch when it comes to harvesting from Facebook.

As the global temperatures rise the summers get hotter and the winters get shorter. Whenever I wash my hands, the melting ice caps pour onto my palms and whisper their stories to me. I bring my hands close to my face so I can better hear their desperate voices.

    Oh.. Hello, Oscar! :superhello:
    Pleasure to meet you!

I forgot to say (concerning those elven corpses on the plateaus) that I was a giant near them... Maybe that was why they whispered.

I talk to this guy who thinks he is a fish. Actually he never revealed his gender but he does think he is a fish. Sorry for blurry picture he was begging for food at the time the photo was taken.

My new doctor has ordered an ultrasound of my liver for today. I figure that should be a new way to get ideas, and less difficult than trying to read my own entrails. I will let you all know how well it works and if I decide to upgrade to self-entrail reading.

Well, not from an ugly cat or fish. I listen to documentaries when I sleep, which results in interesting lucid dreams.

You know what they say about rabbits making more rabbits?

I have a farm. I'm breading dust bunnies with plot bunnies and as long as there is salad and dust, I'll have more story ideas I need.

I used to buy boring audiobooks to help me sleep. Not sure why I got so many.
    Here are a few;

But there are several pages of them. I was going to post all these stupid audiobook titles but it looks like we are about to go into a store.

The satellite of North Korea flies above us once a night.

If it's silent, you can hear it playing the "Wise" Words of tyrant Kim Pimpelipompeli Loonytunes. But it's so far and so primitive (seven political prisoners in a barrel) that words get twisted.

Those twisted words are full of good ideas.

And there is a lesson in this:

You should always pay close attention to how political prisoners use they voice. They might repeat their leaders but there can be a well hidden truth somewhere.

When it rains we often get a light idea drizzle that we collect in cups. Sometimes it's a real plot drencher and you need big buckets to get them.

The other day though we had a real story deluge, they were pouring out from everywhere, vertically, horizontally, sideways. Poor souls who got caught under it, they got saturated top to bottom in literature.
