I just found a link that I used to direct someone to the announcement thread. It led me to an error message that said the following: Since I don't think I've done anything to warrant a ban, I think Daniel is only allowing the judges to view the stories. They will reopen it to the public when they are done.
Yeah i never got to post all of mine either. It didn't work when i tried to PM it either. Maybe it's gone because there trying to work out the problem?
In my opinion, one shouldn't have to send a private message to (and presumably carry on a private conversation with) the administrator of the site in order to find out why a publicized contest with a cash prize seems to have been erased with no record other than the original announcement. Whether it's technical problems, judging, an oversight, what-have-you, the professional thing to do is to post some kind of information letting those invested in said contest (ie: the community) know what's going on. After two days, there shouldn't still be a mystery surrounding it.
This. Yes please. A one line Admin post explaining the situation would be enough. It doesn't have to be fancy. It would be much appreciated.
Okay. Whatever the reason, Daniel will surely explain when he has a chance. All the speculation and complaining adds no light. Closing the thread.
