where's JJ?

Jeez, I'm away for two days and JJ gets banned. Interesting to read through this thread. In some ways, I'll miss him, and although I disagreed with him on nearly everything, I didn't have the sense that he was truly racist (although I did not see the offending post). I do, however, understand the cumulative nature of infractions, and he did create some distracting and bad feelings. I agree that the Mods here are very good, and from everything I've seen, very fair.

 

This reminds me a little bit of the Who Shot JR saga, but in the case the spoiler is, that it was an inside job.

EDIT, I should say that didn't mean the mods, I mean way inside.

 

Aww crap now I have to add owl to the game. This is going to get complicated. I haven't even figured out the hand signals yet.

 

Squirrel sits on a rock, cutting out paper snowflakes with a pair of scissors. Wolf spots him, thinks: 'Here's a succulent wee meal if I just spit out the hat and pinstripes.' Wolf gathers himself to pounce, but gets flattened instead by a landing craft piloted by Spock on an 'away' mission. Squirrel, who missed the wolf bit entirely, introduces himself as a Mod (pinstripe suit bears this out when Spock checks on his hand-held history-o-meter) and Squirrel accompanies Spock to the Enterprise, clinging to Spock's shoulder and chittering squirrelly logic into his ear. Spock is both puzzled and fascinated by this furry little Mod critter, but remains poker-faced.

Squirrel wins ...again...

Owl be off now...
