By that I mean what writing narrative style / method is better. First person? I have always found books written in first person boring and slow as they don't give you any depth outside of those of the main characters. Basically you only have one ideal / prospective / thought on which to base the whole story. Second person? Never really read these so can't say for myself. Third person omniscient - think of Tolken's LOTR. Third person limited - Harry Potter. Involving more than one character. Just curious as it'll help how to sort my ideals for a story.
I'm pretty sure if you scroll down this board a bit, you'll see a thread titled POV which exactly covers what you're asking.
yes... the pov topic is covered in many other threads, so there's no need for yet another one... you can do a 'search' here for 'pov' and get all the info you want...
As a reader I read them all and I am comfortable writing them all. Each serves their purpose and frames the right story well.
