I am just stopping by here before I pass out to ask if anyone else here uses white noise when they work or for anything. I just tried out white noise after having tried out binaural beats with little success. White noise worked out excellent for me. Not only did it help greatly with concentration, but it also relaxed me a lot.
My wife and I use it to block out the neighbors' noises while we sleep. Now we're trying to find the olfactory equivalent.
Funnily enough I was checking out some of the binaural beats on offer at YT last night. I'm not sure I could do the White Noise, though. I suspect it would be more distracting than anything, but who knows?
