Who do you think Obama and McCain should choose to be their Vice-Presidential running mates? Hillary Clinton? Al Gore? Joe Biden? Charlie Crist? Mitt Romney? Bobby Jindal? (Just to name a few likely candidates...)
AMEN!! And can I just say that I can't stand any of the candidates? I usually align with Republican values, but man...don't like McCain, hate Obama. Ugh Not looking forward to November!
I think the only way to go about any of this is to choose a non-politician; preferably a scholar that does not want the position.
Yes! Resurrect him from the dead! My father has a great shirt parodying the Che Guevara shirt which shows Reagan's face in the same pose as Guevara and it says "Viva La Reagan Revolucion".
Wouldn't Obama's inexperience qualify him as a non-politician? Ooooh, sorry for the cheapy. I just really can't stand him or his wife.
Ooh, that's the kind of low blow I'd only expect from a politician's ad campaign. Have we a traitor in our midst?
obama needs to choose whoever will get him elected, which would seem to lean him towards clinton in order to gather in her supporters who don't like him too much. mccain needs to choose someone unpopular or divisive so we don't get saddled with yet another war-obsessed cowboy.
Obama is one of Oprah's minions. So by voting for Obama you are voting for Oprah. Oprah wants to take over the world. Oprah is the anti-christ. (If you're christian, if not, then she's evil. and wants to take over the world.)
As long as Canada's universal health care is nothing like Hillary's Health Care Plan, then we're good. (And I was just kidding...although Obama and Hillary in the white house might be enough to make me do something like that!)
I will not be voting for Obama. He has been endorsed by HAMAS and other Middle-East terror groups. He has also been endorsed by Marxists Daniel Ortega and Raul Castro, The Communist Party of Illinois, Louis Farrakhan, and The New Black Panther Party. This information was gleaned from a newsletter that is mailed to me from Jan Markell's "Olive Tree Ministries" called "Understanding the Times". An online version of it may be read at http://www.olivetreeviews.org/articles/Jans_Articles.shtml#newsitemEkEkuAEkuuHcQFtybq (if the URL doesn't show up properly, go to the main site and look in the articles section) The other endorsements do not appear in the online article but this information is easily verifiable. I make these assertions not to hurt anyone's feelings or incite anything, just to make us all aware of the facts about this candidate. In my opinion, Barack Obama is a perfect gentleman. I just find his politics and background to be unacceptable to me. What do you think?
my question would be, are the middle-easterners endorsing him because they know something we don't or are they endorsing him because he's the closest major contender there is to a muslim? i could understand them getting wildly excited about the fact that his kenyan father gave him the middle name "hussein", but the reality is that he's a long-standing christian and his father was out of his life permanently when obama hit two years old. my question re: the communist groups is, do they normally endorse the democratic candidate? if not, then again- what do they know about obama that we don't? farrakhan and the panthers is an easy one- they'd be jumping on this train even if the candidate was c. thomas howell from "soul man". just like 99% of the other black national leaders and organisations, no doubt. harmless and completely expected, as i see it. one might also ask the question, how can a single candidate be in the pockets of the muslim terrorists, the socialists and the american black extremists all at the same time? the democratic party is more of a coalition of divergent interests than the republican party is, thus if you look at the endorsement records of the average dem-pres candidate there are probably some pretty wacked-out people and orgs typically along for the ride. not as upsetting as might first appear, i imagine. just for the record, my order of preference in this election is noam chomsky, ralph nader, hillary clinton, barack obama, john mccain and anyone not named "bush", "cheney" or "rove". the fact that i am down to my fourth choice is not particularly warming.
