    cacian...
prophet snake and jh are just teasing you... that was all 'sarcasm' [look it up, if you're not sure about the meaning of the word]... because it seems you're the only one here who doesn't know that hollywood is rife with gay/homosexual actors, directors, clothing designers, makeup artists, etc. and always has been...

Since we have already determined elsewhere that rife means something fairly nasty in Cacian's world,( what, i am not sure) I am afraid you are only confusing the issue here.

Afre you trying to say that gay people are such incompetent sailors that they run into icebergs or that they are so nasty they burned Atlanta to the ground? Shame on you.

If you say it doesn't matter then what's the difference if it's Jennifer Anniston or James Dean that gets kissed by the boy?

I think even most gay people would prefer the former, Unless you want to see the differences of course, then you are talking about another type of film that is, in fact, well catered for.

I do not argue with them.
I try and explain why I think or thought something.
It is not all black and white.

    Ok.
How come I have never heard of these.
I watch TV all the time and I must admit apart from BrokebackMountain I have never heard of these films.
Are you trying to tell me that your TV/Media is not geared towards idealising a man/woman as a the norms?

You are arguing with me now. And most of what you argue about is black and white.

I want it intergrated not catered for.
Making exclusive is denying it mainstream.

Not sure really..it comes from the TV jargon.
Everytime I try and watch something the adds come on and all I can hear, not see, is we this we that...so I am just replicating I guess.

It is nobody's fault but your own, that you have not deemed it necessary, to research and find movies that you want to watch.

Also, these are movies. They would not be on TV.

Lastly, one of my favorite TV shows is Modern Family. The premise of the show goes against everything you are saying right now. It is also up for numerous awards (and has already won awards) this upcoming awards season. So no, you are wrong, my TV and media is not geared towards man and woman. American TV is geared towards everyone.

It should not look for it it should be given to me on a plate.
That is what I call mainstream.

So you are saying that the mainstream should favour the small minority?

Suits me, i would like to see about 90% of the roles going to go to dwarves.

    I'd rather not say why.

American TV is given on a plate--It doesn't get anymore mainstream than that.

I like how off-topic Cacian drags things. From women in horror films to gay men in the film business.

    Baffling.

    That is not the same.
    Dwarvism is a condition.
    Homosesxuality is the norm.
