Why aren't black people in fantasy?

    Fiona McIntosh has a few black characters central to her story in the Trinity series. A Latino as well.

    I don't know if this has been said or not but in "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini, Ajihad and Nasuada are black, so I really don't think that anybody really discriminates that much in fantasy.

    Wasn't one of the leading characters in Dungeons and Dragons black.
