If I did not respect the original writer, why would I spend hours paying tribute to their work? Just a thought.

This is turning into a debate over "Is plagiarism okay?"

This site fully supports the protecdtion of intellectiual property as an official policy, so we will not provide a soapbox in favor of violating those protections.

Moreover, it is off topic for the thread.

The discussion has, in fact, wandered away from the original topic, and has become problematic in more ways than one.
