Heya, My assignment in one of my classes is to write a short story about some kind of animal that saves the world. Not necessarily a super hero, but I'm sure you get the idea. Anyways, I'm researching wolves. I plan for my story to take place towards the beginning of civilization, and I chose to center it around the Minoan Civilization. Are there any wolf species that are native to the Crete area? I have an idea for a plot, but I need a wolf species and a general idea of what a Minoan village or settlement would have looked like in the early days. Can anyone help me out?
