So in my story there is a large scale battle between two alien creatures called relica. One of which has had it's scythe shaped appendage violently crushed, almost to the point where the flesh meets the "bone" Kinda think of it as the infected Ganados from Resi 4, when a certain part of them suddenly bursts and the sickle bone tentacle emerges and starts flailing at you. That's the kind of appendage this relica has.
In the case you describe, yes, it probably would. Bone is a living vascular organ, it has circulation and will bleed if cut off or crushed.
I have no ability to visualize the gaming reference you give since I don't game (I get an "Empty File" error), but bone, actual bone is living tissue. It has pathways within it for both marrow and veins.
