You know your bored at work when...

You randomly start singing songs you haven't heard in years while turning circles in your rolling desk chair!

 

-- Or you begin drumming your fingers to the beat of the songs you haven't heard in years I do stuff like that, too, Corbyn lol.

 

Or when you pop out of the pharmacy (in my case at least) into the vacant hall and yell spirit fingers! All while making strange cheerleading related gestures with your hands and said fingers...

When you suddenly imagine yourself and all your coworkers as characters from a book/movie you read/watched recently, and relate every situation to that.

 

LOL... That's a really good one Mallory...... I can just imagine my boss talking like.... "My preeeccciooouuusss..."

You know your bored at work when you talk to your co-workers and you have a running office story such as:

So mean while, back at the ranch, Haus has fallen off his horse yet again into the prickly pear bush....

...You write your next novel at work so you're not distracted by all the fun stuff at the house.

 

You have conversations with your characters instead of people you work with..

 

you connive with your coworkers to swipe an extra slice of pizza at the office to pass the time

You and your coworkers fav pastime becomes talking about the next great thing you need to write your characters going through....

 

You update your ipod or mp3 player so that you have better music to write by instead of better music for work related things...

 

...your pen is disassembled and the spring is missing... dang it....
