I've seen this on a few other forums, so I figured I'd make a thread here too. Not to mention I'm always on the look out for interesting desktop wallpapers. : ) Anyway, just take a screen cap. Directions, if anyone is clueless- =) Windows - I believe you click "Print screen" (usually on your keyboard) which copies the image. Paste it into Paint and save it. Voila! Mac: Command (apple) Shift 3. Voila! I'll go first- I believe this is a picture of Mars taken by NASA. Yeah, as you can see, my name is actually Erinn if anyone was curious. : p Clicky I just realized this is somewhat relevant to the other Pictures thread, so if they're too similar, feel free to close.
This is the Tardis from Doctor Who, on my desktop computer at home. I have different backgrounds on my laptops and server.
Pretty pictures. Adamant, your desktop reminds me of my work computer.. Just switch KLP to KPL, steal that pdf document, and boom..
Mine must be organized at all times. There are so many folders in the Documents area. I used to have StyleXP, but I took it off and never put it on... dunno why though. Gave me some cool icons, et cetera.
My desktop http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x207/Banzai_17/desktop.jpg The picture is of the Dark Tower, from the Stephen King series of the same name. I should probably find a better background, but for the moment, it'll do
It works well with my novel and sequel. (still not as cool as the astronaut having a beer on the moon. )
it's one of the early Nirvana gigs. Krist still took his shirt off and covered himself in fake blood, such a riot he was. old drummer chad channing too. kur's hair was a fucking mess.
My boyfriend has a habit of changing my wallpapers on my computer and phone without me knowing. One day I came home from work to find this as my new wallpaper: It's my cat, his name is Jason. He also renames my programmes on the sly so now I've got 'Microsoft Life Ham' and 'The Sims Abominations' and Audacity is now called 'this make the song'. He thinks he is hilarious, I'm sure.
Windhelm! But mostly Masser and the aurora. Probably fifty percent of my wallpaper folder is Skyrim screenshots.
@Imaginarily Nah, I have seen some that have a full screen of icons rendering the wallpaper useless. Though I am sure there is a wallpaper that will make it appear full of icons. Also gotta love (and wonder) about the folder labeled :WTF
