I haven't read a lot of books with villains. My favorite movie villains - Jane in Too Late for Tears - she's out with her hubby when a case of money is thrown into their car (it's ransom money) she wants to keep it and will do anything, anything to keep it. One of the most nastiest femme fatales. Brandon and Phillip - Rope - they strangle a buddy to feel superior and then host a party with his body under the buffet and all his friends and family present. Mrs. Danvers - Rebecca - the housekeeper does her best to intimidate the new mistress of Manderly. Christabel - Born to be Bad - good role for Joan Fontaine - though she played the sweetie in Rebecca in this one she uses her sweet face to get everything she wants.
