Creating this purely for selfish reasons, although I genuinely would be interested to see what else you creatives come up with when not writing. I'm a big GTA V fan, and anyone who plays the game will know that PC and current gen consoles got the wonderful 'Directors' toy as a free update recently. It was very tricky to get to grips with, but here's my first effort as a director (fullscreen and speakers on for best effects).
I've created a lot of characters in fantasy RPG. Specially in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In fact, my two major characters in those games have become characters in their own rights in terms of my stories. Same is tue for the character I created after playing Mass Effect 2.
I'm with @Link the Writer My Skyrim character Horny Mcsteamy and some others really evolved into characters of their own, Horny in particular had a tendency to be a pragmatic villian-ish, mostly did good for the world but was not above sacrificing some of his followers for power to demons or kidnapping people for power. But also really loved to stick to the other big bads in the game. I picked his name cause he was an Argonian and had horns. Now my most MOST FAVORITE thing I ever did was my wrestling tapes, I did regularly from age about nine to fourteen on and off. I used to have an old beat up small TV with a little VHS player in it and I had tons and tons of WWE games. So I used to use the created character feature and used to make like power rangers, comic characters, presidents, my own stuff and sit com characters and I'd tape the matches to make my own little wrestling shows. Then of course .....welll it still technically counts as writing but I've got some old school notebooks fro I had which are just filled and filled with bad comics. Annnnd well I've done all sorts of stuff but those are some of my favorites!
Just a quick suggestion: when you do those cuts, make sure the moving object (your car) continues to move in the same direction (L - R - R), otherwise it gets confusing for the viewer and can make it seem like a different object. Otherwise, good job
As a child I did woodwork at school (year 8 or so) and was shit at it. A couple of years ago I got it in my head to make a coffee table and this is the result: It's Tassie Oak, glued, doweled and clamped, no screws. Then a few coats of Danish oil.
I draw quite regularly. I'm currently working on a piece for my new house. ETA: Drew these for my now husband for Christmas two years ago.
Thank you! My husband wants me to start an Etsy page, but I know the minute it starts feeling like work and not a hobby, I won't enjoy it as much. Maybe some day though.
One of my characters is called Big Face Moron Cock head Fool Tits, I call him "Dave" for short. He does so many big face cock head fool tits actions it is hilarious. In fact I wish he would do less.
Shouldn't that mean you wish he'd do more? Or is it that they're so hilarious you get belly ache from laughing?
I also really really really still love to play with play-doh. I've got about several different colors in a drawer on my desk, it helps with stress and writing to just open it up and make some stuff with it or just squish it around. Mixing random foods together is fun to! I've gotten into the habit of trying various taco combinations, like I made a soft taco using Chinese chicken and that turned out pretty good. The most recent creation of mine was the Peanuts version of myself in my avatar. Spoiler: meeeee! AND You all should also try and make yourselves! http://www.peanutizeme.com/ I'd love to see what you all look like in Peanuts form!
I make these which sell very well on Etsy. I have one left (a buyer that backed out) all wrapped up and no where to go.
*not able to resist posting here* My mad scientist character (used only in RP) made a Frankenstein-style pet: I cannot draw paws, apparently. And, sometimes I record my antics in WoW and use Movie Maker to turn it into a narcissistic little film that nobody but me cares about:
@Aaron DC That's how I do. And thanks! Internet radio is the best radio ever. I don't recall the station or have a clue what artist/song is playing... this was recorded two-ish years ago. I am now tempted to record some new footage...
My (not particular well done) Snatch inspired fight sequence, using GTA V's new Director / Editor mode. Unfortunately The Stranglers' Golden Brown isn't one of the game's songs, so I had to use a different one.
Having such great fun with GTA V's Director / Editor mode. This is my favourite so far, and it tell me that I'm far more inspired by mood pieces like this, than when trying to tell a story.
My other creations, LOL!!! Seriously, though, I enjoy photography. (Especially, if it involves making my children dress in goofy clothes and stand around complaining about what a dork I am.) I'm also fond of silly photographs:
