in two days, i have submitted two pieces to two different publications. with the exception of my community college publication (which a lot of people don't take seriously), these are the first two publications i have sent anything to (or...to where i have sent anything). i submitted to Glimmer Train, and don't expect anything. i know i have to receive many, many, many rejection letters before i acheive anything. however, the piece i submitted is something i have worked on for five years....
