LibreOffice 5.0

LibreOffice version 5.0 offers a powerful overhaul to the previous versions, while still maintaining the simple approach of its predecessors. This version incorporates many of their development ideas that allow them to move forward with mobilization and cloud computing.

Some of the key new Writer features include: increased filetype support, improved menus and layouts, the ability to quickly apply styles to all or part of the document and more.

This version is compatiable with most operating systems and cements itself as an increasingly solid alternative to Microsoft Office.
