Pasha didn’t know what to say about his comment. Should he let it be known that their tribe was a bit out of it lately? He shook his head, and continued on into the cavern. He said nothing to the others as he nodded at Cull. He quietly went back to work on the fence. "What about Viva?" "I don't know what to do..." he muttered. "Just wait for the right moment..."
Britney watchs Pasha and Cull enter the cave. She looks up at Cull and says "Hi. I'm Britney. We have a stream in the back of the cave if you're thirsty. Also there is some fruit sitting there near the fire. Help yourself."
Cull stared at the group his eyes like saucers. Finally he sat down took out his pouch and bandaged his hand before looking back at the place Pasha had left form.
Britney watches as the man wraps a bandage around his hand. "Hey, are you any good at treating wounds?" asks Britney, hoping that he could help with Fox's head gash.
Viva felt very vulnerable as Pasha left her to get some fruit. "Okay, I'm serious - quit the immature jealously thing, and make your mind. You love him, don't ya? But you are an assassin, aren't ya? Now, what are you going to do? Love him or kill him? If it's love, then trust makes any relationship so shut your rubbish talk and work. If it's killing him, then quit yapping and kill him NOW. That's an order." Are you insane? I can't just stroll and kill him. "Kill him within this hour and if you don't, then quit pretending to yourself." Viva groaned as Pasha returned, but then eyed him gratefully as he gave her some fruit. "Remember that documentary about gender discrimination where the husband gives consolation money to his wife when he kicks her out?" Viva groaned and put the fruit aside, going back to her work. It was hard, since she wasn't in practice, but was slowly getting used to it. There was suddenly a creepy voice whispering to her. "You know, you should kill him and get over with it." I guess so.
Cull looked at the woman and nodded, “I‘m an of sorts. Why do you ask? ” He looked her up and down before holding his head and rocking for a few moments as a surge of pain shot through him.
"Our leader has a head injury." says Britney as she points to Fox laying there, "Raylene, cleaned the wound and stitched her up, but would you please take a look at her. Maybe there's a way to get her to heal faster."
Pasha gave a nod at Cull, starting to show him what to do when Britney called over. He stopped, and went back to finishing the fencing section he was one. Once he was done, he put it to the side, and got up. His hands shook as he walked over to Viva. He sat at her side, looking over with a half-smile. “I’m sorry.” He said, his voice shakey, “I was wrong, I shouldn’t have hung out with her… I shouldn’t have held her like that. An over the shoulder would have done.” He choked out the words, his voice unstable. “Go on.” “I miss you. I don’t want to be on this planet with this between us. I wish I could show you how much you mean to me.... I love you Furstin.” His voice cracked, and he went silent. He blushed madly and started to walk away. “A step towards normality.” Yuri sighed.
Cull laughed at her comments, “there isn‘t any way for a wound to heal faster then it will. Lets have a look then.” He squatted down next to Fox and looked at the angry red wound on her head. “She has an infection, I can see what you‘re saying about faster now. We need to get that cleaned up in order to get it to heal properly. At times infection can become so server it can lead to death.” He put the pouch next to him and knelt down starting to swab the area. He then injected it with a little local antiseptic and stitched it before putting a swab over the wound. “You‘re going to need to clean that every day to keep the germs out. Hopefully that way the infection will go.”
“I’m sorry.” Pasha said, his voice shaky, “I was wrong, I shouldn’t have hung out with her… I shouldn’t have held her like that. An over the shoulder would have done.” He choked out the words, his voice unstable. “I miss you. I don’t want to be on this planet with this between us. I wish I could show you how much you mean to me.... I love you Furstin.” His voice cracked, and he went silent. He blushed madly and started to walk away. Viva looked back at him, her hands trembling. "Do it now or forget it, Viva." She looked down at the knife in front of her. "Come on, you know the deal. Up, towards his chest and into his heart. No biggie." She snuck up on the knife, and then grabbed it. Okay, but I'm not sure I want to do this. "I'm sure you don't. But you say you're a loyal spy. Prove it." Viva gulped and then said out loud: "Hey..." Pasha spun, and she looked into his eyes. "I'm...uhh...uhh..." "Sorry!!!" "Sorr...rr...ry." "KILL HIM YOU PIECE OF JUNK!!!" Impulsively, Viva raised her knife and blindly struck it in the air. She had her eyes shut close, with a few tears in them. She opened her eyes after a few seconds, only to find them her knife was a centimeter away from his heart. "Furstin?" He wondered innocently, at which Viva bashfully put the knife back. I...can't. "Good. Now you know." Viva smiled and then hugged him. "I'm sorry. I was being an idiot too." "Finally."

The knife had unnerved him, but once they made contact, all was well for him. He wrapped his arms around her, placing a kiss on the top of her head. His heart gave a skip, as they broke out from the hug. “Want to help me finish the fence?” he muttered. He wrapped his hand around hers, feeling at peace for the first time that day.
Viva nodded, her tears automatically erased from her eyes. "Alleluia. We have a schizophrenic murderer crossed with a hyper - yes, hyper - top government assassin. And we get a first filial generation of psychopaths." Shut up. "Fine, be a self-absorbed woman. I give you love advice, and you admonish me?" No need to give me family planning advice. Viva walked with to the fence, and sat down on her knees, examining the structure. "So what would you like me to do?"
Cody looked across at the group of Cons that sat around the small fire chewing on the remnants of a small deer of some type. The cons were full of bad manners spit and gas. Cody hadn’t found them to bad though, after she’d shown them who was boss by booting them in the nuts a few time. Yeah they respected her now. The con’s group was tucked away from the others all with good reason. The other groups didn’t like the cons Cody didn’t blame them. They moped around sulking in the shadows to get what they needed from nearby and of course the cons would hurl abuse like bikers in the local bar. Cody would swear with them after all if you couldn’t beat them you had to join them. One of the bigger ones handed Cody a scoop shaped leaf with a little water in it and she drank from it before passing it on. “Who do we need to beat around here to get a mother ******* cup?” demanded the next idiot. Cody snickered. “Oie wreaker,” another guy remarked after one of the cons had mentioned that all the groups were like little villages. “Your village rang they want their idiot back.” the group burst into laughter and Cody wondered where the hell they’d found booze. Of course they hadn’t they were just naturally this way.
She watches at Cull kneels over Fox and looks at the gash on the back of her head. "Fox, you were so strong yesterday, its weird to see you like this." thinks Britney. “She has an infection, I can see what you‘re saying about faster now. We need to get that cleaned up in order to get it to heal properly. At times infection can become so server it can lead to death.” says Cull. The words go through her heart like a dagger, and time seems to freeze for a second. Cull says “You‘re going to need to clean that every day to keep the germs out. Hopefully that way the infection will go.” She quickly says "Don't worry, I'll make sure that it stays clean. Um, could you also take a look at Reva, laying there on the other side of Fox. Pasha said she passed out for no reason." She continues to stares at Fox, her eyes wide with fear at the thought of losing her and thinks "Fox you can't die. I want to know more about you. I...I need to know more about you. Please don't die."
Pasha grabbed a the remaining of the finger-thick branches and piled them next to her. He tossed her a few strands of the rope, placing the knife in her hands. “I need a door, just like the rest of the fencing we have here, but it needs to be rounded up a big. You might need to cut off parts of trigs. Don’t worry about making notches for it, I’ll get the door on.” He kissed her on the head and headed out the cave mouth. He took the four thickest and tallest sticks he had gotten. They were at least 5 inches in diameter, and taller then the cave itself. He sized them up, using the knife from her hands to cut them to size. He grabbed his bludgeon and pounded them in between the cave mouths upper and lower. He sat down, taking a break. He had a lot of work ahead of him.
Viva put some of the sticks parallel to each other and then crossed them with another pair of parallel sticks, making somewhat equal boxes in between. She then cut a part of the rope with the knife, and then wrapped it around a corner of two bisecting sticks. Once she had tightened it, she moved on to the rest of the bisected points. "This will take a while." She wiped her sweat as she devotionally worked for the sake of the tribe.
Cull stood up and brushed himself off before stepping over to Reva and kneeling down once more. “I can‘t see what it could be on the outside. No rashes nothing. He frowned could be any number of things. Something she ate came in contact with Exhaustion. I really need to speak with her to find out what happened.” He sighed. It was nice to be kept busy again. He didn’t feel so lost and he wasn’t dwelling on his own misery.
Darkness was coming. The painful brightness was no longer stabbed her eyes. She stretched all six paws and arched her back. First up till the fur brushed against the top of the cave. Next, her spine hollowed letting her loose belly scatter the bones, feathers, and fur that carpeted the ground. Six eyes scanned the dark lair and saw her cubs sleeping peacefully. Her ears pulled back as she rubbed each one in turn gently releasing a tiny squirt of musk. Her cubs marked, no other animal would come near thinking she was still there. Her claws worked the dirt and rocks building a small mound to hid them just in case. Slowly, she left the lair and sniffed the night air before releasing a howl that echoed for miles.
Britney sat by Fox during the day. She cleaned out Fox's would every couple of hours. "I wonder what you would do next." thinks Britney. She grabs the chalk like rock off of the floor of the cave and begins to draw on the wall. She draws the mountain with a small hole to represent their cave. She draws where the forest is as campared to the cave. On the field section of the map, she writes "ceader territory". Finally she draws the ravine and the location of the nose of the ship, aswell as the rest of the ship. "Hey everyone. Can I have you attention please." says Britney. She points at the drawing and says "We can use this as our map. If any of you see an important location that isn't on the map, please add it. Thanks." She sits back down next to Fox.
Viva tiredly placed the last of the rope around the corner of the door and then tied a knot. She raised her neck, proud of what she had done. She looked over to Pasha who was also done with the fence. He looked towards Viva, expecting her to hand over the door. She nodded, and passed the door to him. "Well, I'm hungry." She yawned, and finally ate the berries Pasha had brought for her earlier. "Hey everyone. Can I have you attention please." says Britney. She points at the drawing and says "We can use this as our map. If any of you see an important location that isn't on the map, please add it. Thanks." Viva quickly took the chalk and drew a dot somewhere downhill. "A fresh torrent of water." She said out after she handed the chalk back.
Cull had finished looking at Reva there wasn’t a lot he could do, no one seemed to know anything about why she might have collapsed. He sat leant against a cave wall staring at it’s door way. Pasha was outside still with another girl and there were a few people inside busying themselves. Cull did as he always did counted his supplies hung the small pouch over his shoulder and tried to lay so he couldn’t smell the stench of the dried blood on his shoulder. He’d kill for a new shirt and no more ear bleeds.
Pasha smiled and went through the portion of the gate that was still left open. He had worked all day on getting the fence up, spending most of the day bet, attaching the fence and placing the rocks. It was pretty stable, and he was happy with it. He took five cuts of the rope attaching it on the right side. He made them moderately loose, so it could swing open and shut, but tight enough that the door wouldn’t fall off or wobble. He then took the last of the rope hanging it on the side. That would be used when they needed to make sure no one could easily get in. He swung the gate in, and walking through his new fence. He gave a bright smile, and took a handful of the fruit. His stomach grumbled, not having eaten much that day. He looked at the drawing on the wall, and shook his head. He didn’t see how it mattered anyway. “Don’t swing the door too hard, you might break something.” He said to them all.
With the evenings fall the fire was heaped with more wood and the cons trailed into the entrance of their new abode. Cody was doing the night watch with one of the older men. They stood at the entrance of the cave with long branches fashioned into crude pikes. The men wrapped themselves in fur one of the men knew a little about curing furs so with what little they had furs were made. There was enough for the seven that lived in the cave. Cody was mostly surprised the place didn’t stink like she thought at first it would. After snuffling about for there places they started their evening conversations. None of the men ever ran out of things to say their were never any pauses, though at times the conversation would lead into stupidity.
Viva looked back at the food supplies. Apparently, there was no meat, only unfinished cloaks. All the fruit had been nibbled on too. "Uh-oh..." She said with a giggle, and then looked over to the interim leader of their tribe. "I think I should gather some fruit. Otherwise we'll have to sleep empty stomach! Teehee!" She chuckled, and then got on her feet. "Open the gate, would you Mr. Huggles?"
