    Article Syndication

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by GSITM, Oct 21, 2011.

    Hey guys
I want to know about article syndication. What i would like to do is lease/rent my writing to websites for a rental/lease fee. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this in the past and if you could give me some advice as to how I would go about it.
    Thanks

why would they want to rent/lease your work instead of buying first rights?

I can't see why any publisher would want to do this. What's in it for them?

I didn't really think of that. Would they be more likely to just buy it rather then rent it? And I thought that they would want to do this so they can have fresh content On their site. It saves them the effort of writing their own content

that's why they buy the one-time rights to your work!

    renting/leasing makes no sense...
