Nice to have finally joined a forum I can actually participate in (at least I think so). I'm new to writing, new to writing in (on, I guess) forums in general. Although I'm certainly not new to joining them I've always been a lurker. So I've decided to use this interesting forum as a hub to further develop my writing ability. I also like Logic, Mathematics and I'm also starting to realize that I might be an obsessed bookworm. Sincerely, Rocko
Welcome to the Forum, Eugene! I'm sure you'll find this place to be as friendly and awesome as I have. People are active here and love to critique people's work, give tips and help out where they can. I frequent the RP section and the members there are terrific. Come check it out if you want a fun way to work on your writing skills and find out what makes a good story/character. See you around! ~LTW
Welcome to it, Rocko. Please have a quick read through the New Member Quick Start where you'll find link to the Forum Rules, and the FAQ. Have fun! Wrey P.S. Laundry day is a very dangerous day.
Thank you "Love to Write" I'll be sure to check out the awesome stuff here. Thanks to you to "Wreybies" I've already read all the rules, guides, etc, cause when it comes to forum based politics I make sure I know my stuff. And also love that freaking Rocko pic' by the way. I'll be sure to hand wash my goods in due time then Sincerely Rocko
Rocko ...well sounds like a card player's name, so no wonder you like counting cards, err I mean math.
Minstrel: Thank you kind sir, what can I say I'm a sucker (more like a nerd really) for functions. I love your's too reminds me of secret squirrel (but I guess that's probably the point, isn't it?). Lewdog: Jeez that obvious huh? Alright you got me, I confess... I don't even play cards I just join writing forums and post avatars of mathematical symbols in hopes of gaining the trust of any (and all) who writes.
So you like math. Have you read Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions? You can get the ebook for free at Project Gutenburg; it is 83 pages of mathematical absurdity.
