Hey, me too. I'm getting it:
In the thread, https://www.writingforums.org/threads/writing-a-book.133080/page-2 "writing a book".

But I was able to post a PM conversation, and this post.

At least it's not my computer or the whole forum.

*I like that you reported it, not that you are having trouble. ;)

Now the whole debate room apparently gets one a server error message.

I can open the table of contents but not any of the 4 threads in the forum that I tried to open.

And I'm getting the same message in lots of other threads. I can't open anything in General Writing.

Unfortunately, that did not work for me. :(

@Daniel, this is the error that popped up when I attempted to access a thread via the Recent Posts sidebar:

It's been like that all day for me but still functioning intermittently, if you follow me.

If I click on the title (to go to the latest post) I get "A server error occurred. Please try again later."; if I click on the date of the original post, I get the thread and have to scroll down to the latest one. This happens on all threads.

That's helpful, saves me having to go to the profile page to find a thread did like I did here just now. If there is more than one page you can also click on the past page to open a thread.

Clicking on the last post link on the right side works too. It's just the (page template for the) thread title link in the What's New listing pages.

It was not a problem last night, but occurs consistently (for me) today.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing, clicking on the time of the last post goes to the post. There are still some forums I'm not having an issue with but I am with most of them.

Yeah I'm not sure if it's related but I did my two comments in the novel section after this, three I think now, it still hasn't allowed me access to post my own thread. So I don't know. I use this site intermediately, mostly when I get stuck and want advice on something but everytime I come here to post something goes wrong :(

Try clicking on the time noted under the last person to post in the thread. And if you can't get there under "new posts" in the right hand corner if you are on "new posts" click on "recent posts".

Otherwise go to the forum table of contents, click on the sub-forum you want and then click on the time under the last person who posted in the thread. once you do that posting should be normal in all threads.

Yeah so it worked for a second but then when I went post new thread typed up its name and copied everything in it gave me an error saying I didn't have permission to do that. Like the third time that's happened in the last two days. I would love to pm a mod about it but I don't see where I can contact them.

I couldn't open this thread just now the usual way. I had to click on the time of last post, so it's not fixed.
