I am sorry but I have trouble figuring out who to ask to transfer a thread I mistakenly placed. The original thread is in "The Lounge". I started "My story really took off" and now realize that this thread should really be in the "Progress Journal". Sorry about that Could you also rename it while you are about it? To "The Life of Lifeline"? Thanks for your help, and please also tell me how to approach a Mod when something similar comes up (hopefully it will not be necessary another time).
Just send your chosen Mod a private message, via the 'Start a Conversation' facility on THEIR profile page. Here's a link (under Information in the menu bar) to the various Mods: https://www.writingforums.org/faq/staff.68/ Daniel is probably not the best person to contact first, as he's the wizard who keeps the site alive and running on the internet. He doesn't have a large profile with the day-to-day affairs that occur within the forum.
As @jannert said, you can contact any of the super mods (including @Wreybies, the Operations Manager) with any questions you might have. Daniel, however, is often very busy so it's better to leave him to all his other important work. Edit: You can also find the mods by going to Members (underneath the main navigation bar on the start page) and then Staff.
And helpful too, I can take a hint Um.. now that I think about it, @Chinspinner you are meaning @jannert 's thread, right?
