Discussion in 'Announcements' started by Daniel, Oct 13, 2013.

We now have a FAQ section. It includes several sections:

I'll continue to add to the FAQ as new questions come up. If you have a suggested question for the FAQ, please suggest them in this thread.

You can access the FAQ through the help tab in the main menu.

    New Publishing and Workshop Forums

Over the past week or two we've also added several new forums as well. There's now the Query & Cover Letter Critique Forum, which operates under the Writing Workshop rules, a self-publishing forum, and an e-publishing forum. All three new forums are sub-forums under the Publishing Forum.

We've also expanded our Writing Workshop to include an Erotica section (17+ only), Flash Fiction, Autobiography & Memoir, War & History, and Young Adult.

The same way any restricted site does, essentially. It all comes down to a question about age or birthdate, and with a question, explicit or implicit, "Do you certify what you have stated is the truth?"

Being caught lying is, of course, grounds for permanently denying access. So is being caught creating another account to get around the restriction.

I'd think not, but they can certainly investigate where there is a suspicion of impropriety. Quite a few banned users would be very surprised at how they were found out.
